I love Square Enix, I've been designing all kinds of innovative things that I hope they'd be interested in.

so, when I heard about this competition I was all "omg!! if I can get Mr. Tetsuya Nomura to look at just ONE of my pieces... then I would be SOOOOO happy!!!... as I'm trying to get in the field.

as you can see... I've done quite a bit of researching to get my character just right... I wanted him to be simple, but with a sort of AWESOME too him. (just like Sora, or Riku)

I hate those things that have the characters with "overly tragic" backstories.... so Hachi is just a normal kid pulled in the Reaper's Game... just like Neku, or Shiki, Joshua, Beat, Rhyme... etc.

I have had this character for a long time actually... he started out as a cute, short, Sonic-like bee guy with a honeycomb staff... but, thanks to the inspiration of Mr. Tesuya Nomura, and all of the Square Enix staff Hachi has evolved into the beautifully flawed character seen here.

Hachi's Arm is a Noise tattoo(as are his antennae)... notice the skeleton- style of it.

the mp3 player is fused to his body from the shattering Noise blast that Kariya dealt him, to get him to play the Reaper's Game on the Reapers side...

I talk a lot... but most Game Designers do eh?

I'm very confident in my entry!! I hope that the Square Enix staff enjoys Hachi!!, If they do, I can tell them his original story.( there's a bear king it it ^w^)
